How does collection and reception work?

Accepted equipment, we only collect equipment:

  • • Desktop computers (PCs)
  • Laptops
  • • Tablets
  • Smartphones
  • Printers and photocopiers
  • Servers and UPS units
  • Cables and accessories

Collection area.

We operate in 7 European countries:
Belgium, Luxembourg, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, and Germany.

For other European countries, we study each request case by case.

Practical arrangements.

We come to collect equipment on-site, regardless of quantity.
Our teams have recognized expertise in IT decommissioning and fleet management.

Our absolute commitment

Data security guarantee.

Data security is our number one priority.
We apply an unparalleled data destruction protocol in the sector.
3 important steps

Our data erasure process

1. Certified software erasure:
All computers are erased with professional software guaranteeing 100% destruction of all data. These tools exceed military security standards.

2. Physical destruction if necessary:
Damaged hard drives or media that cannot be erased are physically destroyed and then recycled through a certified environmental company (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001).

3. Certification on request:
We provide a data destruction certificate to every donor who requests it. If your company is subject to specific legal standards (GDPR, banking sector, healthcare), we adapt our procedures accordingly.

Total guarantee

Zero risk of data leakage. Zero compromise on confidentiality. Your peace of mind is guaranteed.
We are certified ISO 9001 / ISO 14001

    Our strict selection criteria

We SORT, we TEST AND we REFURBISH

    1. Computers less than 5 years old: to guarantee 8 to 10 years
of additional use in African climates.
    2. Screens compliant with TCO03 standard: compliance with
      international environmental standards.
    3. Tested and functional equipment: each device is tested
individually. No defective equipment is shipped.
    Our environmental responsibility

    Recycling and component processing.

Equipment that doesn’t meet our criteria is never discarded.
It is recycled in Europe through approved RECUPEL channels, mainly with our partner BRMET (certified WEEE recycling).

    LOGISTICS AND DISTRIBUTION

Each project corresponds to shipping a 20 or 40-foot container, containing between 200 and 400 computers.

    Holistic
    approach

Our project doesn’t just donate equipment: it creates a virtuous circle of education, circular economy and environmental protection.

The 9 steps to a successful project

    1. Identification of beneficiary schools:
In collaboration with our local partners, we determine a group of schools corresponding to the capacity of a container.
    2. Comprehensive logistics study: Maritime transport, customs formalities, local delivery: everything is planned in detail.
    3. Preparation of infrastructure:
Construction or refurbishment of computer rooms, electrification, air conditioning if necessary.
    4. Training of trainers:
Recruitment and comprehensive training of teachers who will use the equipment.
    5. Development of the educational program:
Adaptation of courses to local realities and student needs.
    6. Maintenance and replacement plan:
Establishment of a financing system to ensure future maintenance and replacement.
    7. Community mobilization: Involvement of local authorities, notables, elites, and parents of students.
    8. Fundraising: Once the complete project has been drafted, we submit it to various organizations to obtain the necessary funds.
    9. Continuous monitoring and evaluation:
Ongoing monitoring of the use of the material and its educational impact.
    OUR Philosophy

    ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

Environmental issues have been at the heart of our work since 2003.
Every decision is made with the ecological impact in mind.

    20 times more ecological

    Sustainability and extended lifecycle

Scientific studies prove it: reusing a computer is up to 20 times more ecological than direct recycling. By extending the lifespan of devices, we drastically reduce the footprint

    OUR Philosophy

    END-OF-LIFE COMPONENT RECYCLING

In Africa, our partners are contractually obliged to return
end-of-life equipment to an approved scrap dealer for recycling. The circular economy cycle is complete.

    Positive global impact

    Each reused computer means:
Less extraction of raw materials to African schools.
    Less energy-intensive industrial production.
    Less electronic waste.
    More value created for communities.
